Ok, wow. That is SO MUCH INFORMATION. Where should you start?
In the past I have done these two ways:
Ok, that’s still so much communication. YES! Most teams’ concerns are they don’t know what is happening or why. As leaders, we are talking about this “thing” for days or weeks before it happens. We’re sick of it. Yet our team HAS YET TO HEAR IT! Going overboard will only upset you and those on your team afraid of accountability. Your role as a leader is not to be the only hunter. It is to ensure the next generation can hunt as well or better than you.
I’m going to build out 2 sets of 6 1-month calendars below. They are to be used as a template for the system or for its deployment. One will be the “All at Once” plan and one will be the “bottom-up” plan.
Remember, these are templates. If a Monday meeting doesn’t work for you, cool. Move it to the day that does work.
We will build these out as if you are the market leader of 4 multi-unit managers, each with 5 locations. We will not show the W1+1 meetings for your multi-unit managers and their team or their team conducting W1+1 with THEIR team. It should be easier to grasp if the view is just what YOU, the market leader, are responsible for attending. Saturday & Sunday are listed as off, again, if this doesn’t fit with your schedule, then move the days! Blanks are days without scheduled communication system events.
