Documented S2S communication will remove many of these obstacles.
Don’t over complicate this one. I have a paragraph at the end of my shift checklists.
This is documented, sure you can have a discussion with the next shift but generally, this is written / digital only.
To inform the next shift of what was accomplished and what still needs to be done. This should be no more than a line or two and only concerns the next shift and the previous shift. More than a line or two and this should be addressed in a weekly one-on-one.
Unit shift management.
Upon opening today, the sink was not cleaned out. We had a large catering order that helped us to be 31% up from the goal. All prep has been completed.
